I just read an interesting article that the only safe generalization is that higher profile (uglier?) helmets offer more protection that the sleeker, low profile helmets. So Troxel wins because their hemets, at least their basic, less expensive ones, cover more. Western riders use them a lot. The article said that, ironically, the cheaper helmets tend to be safer than the expensive ones…
I think they should provide better support against whiplash that breaks necks. Probably can’t, but should try
