I used a new product this week - Resolve by haygard - and it worked the best yet for me. Mare’s case wasn’t too bad but she was unsound (she’s a sensitive baby) and there were four or five horizontal scab lines. Gone in 4 days. I think I’ve tried everything, this was the fastest resolution yet. Hopefully it works next time, too.
I do think the supplemental zinc & copper she gets is helping her heal when she gets them though!
Hi! Thanks so much for your response. I forgot to mention picking these scabs off is not an option. He will kick the heck out of me so I totally agree that these things hurt for them and I want to minimize the pain. I am gonna try this!
