Not yet. Mail has been creeping along here. My ss package I sent has yet to arrive, as well. It didn’t even budge for 2 weeks.
@SharonA, did your package ever arrive? I sent you a PM before Christmas, but I’m really not sure if I sent it “correctly.” I never received a reply, so I think there’s a strong chance that my navigating skills on the new forum rollout messed that up. The tracking info shows it was delivered on Christmas Eve, but I’m also not sure that I trust USPS’s package tracking info considering how chaotic and unreliable package deliveries have been.
My doggie is completely addicted to that toy bone, Chai. We’ve created a monster!
The mail delays are crazy. My SS has three of her four gifts, but the fourth one, which was shipped back on December 11th, is still MIA. I give it until the end of this month to show a pulse, and then I will reverse the charge and just get her something else.
Someone last week mailed me something priority mail. She sent the tracking number. It was “in transit,” “in transit,” “in transit.” After four days, it checked in at an actual location, and it turns out it had transited 30 miles in those four days. Still has over 1500 to go. And again, that’s priority.
My dear ElfMagic! Thank you so much for the wonderful box of goodies. I arrived home last night to find it by the door, and what fun it was to open it to find such a treasure trove! I love the cardinal theme, and the adorable hand-made cardinals, colorful flag and ornament with such a beautiful sentiment on it. I will start my next set of mittens with the yarn, and I’m already using the book mark on a book I picked up yesterday, “The Summit” by Eric Alexander (quite good!). But by far, my favorite gift is the wonderful portrait of a Shire. I think of Bear every time I look at it and I just love it.

Now that things are winding down, I wanted to THANK each and every participant for their patience, grace and kindness shown to each other. Alas, all the shipping companies were hit with massive loads of packages to deliver and were/are behind - yet, not one COTH Elf has complained. Way to go - besides, complaining doesn’t make packages appear on the doorstep faster

@J-Lu, success!! My package got here today & I love it! My brother gave me a Keurig for Christmas, so the mug is perfect. I plan to break it in at breakfast tomorrow. The headband is adorable, too. Thank you for everything!
@JBCool, YAY! Thank you for updating me! I’m glad you liked the mug. It is made by a local potter that my barn owners (and good friends) really like and use. They had mugs, wine glasses, bowls and plates made over the years for their own use. Recently, they had the potter stamp their barn logo on and make more mugs. So that is the barn’s logo and that is locally 100% hand made in NC. I liked that one the best for you! I know you are a h/j rider and I love love love that headband. It is the thinnest one I’ve found and is the most comfy to wear under a helmet because it is so thin. Or when out and about.
I’m so happy you like them! I started a new job at a biotech start-up a couple of months ago and I’ve had zero time this holiday season. I’m sorry I didn’t tease you or ask questions this year. But then again, I knew everything about you from last year! Hahahahahaha!!

Yes!!! I am sorry I didn’t thank you sooner!!! I have been absent from COTH lately. But thank you thank you! I loooove the but warmer and the ornament cracks me up.

@RoughOut No worries, I had just heard that so many packages had been delayed or lost in the mail and wanted to be sure you had received yours! I am glad you are enjoying the box of goodies!
My Christmas presents for my dad and stepmom (that’s two different packages) haven’t reached them yet. I was talking to her last week, and she said, “Maybe they’ll get here for our anniversary.” Which is in August.
