SECRET SANTA!!! - Let the thanks begin!!!

WireWeiners,

Your gifts are all picked,
(I give up on rhyming)
I hope you like the smells I chose.
Everything was wrapped (not to well) with care
and soon your package will be in the air!

Yay! I could do with something nice right now.

Dear Zonderpaard,

A haiku:

I see that you live
In the land of awesome beer.
Flemish, yes of course!

The reindeer and I
gathered gifts from far and near.
We have one question.

Do you like earth scents?
Blitzen thinks you like flowers.
Comet says “No, herbs”.

Can you settle this?
I can’t argue without facts.
They have sharp antlers.

I hope you have fun
riding on your two-wheeled steed.
Sure is cheap to feed.

Wowee! I must have been good this year.

Box 2 has been stashed away (FOR NOW).

Thank you my ELF!!!

My lovely Elf! I received my box today and I couldn’t wait to open it :o THANK YOU SO MUCH! The socks are adorable, as is the hoofpick. The filly will love the treats. And the bag! The bag is very me  I actually have a brown and orange Equine Couture saddle pad that matches it - will be perfect for horse shows. Thank you so very much, you brightened up my very drab and very cold Monday  I only wish I knew your COTH identity. Seasons greetings to you and your menagerie!
Well, you can always browse the forums and do some sleuthing! You know from my card I have a Finger Lakes Finest OTTB, a COTH Giveaway Dog, and Corgis. One more hint–my elf name and real name have a similar theme. (A little too similar. If you check the weather for the return address on the box, I’m sadly TOO frozen right now! I like snow and ice, but not this much!) And I’m glad you like the bag! Clearly I’m psychic and knew it would match.

What a sneaky elf. Time for me to get sleuthing!
(Because I’m sure you get tired of jokes about advice columnists!)

Your elf is here and shopping! Anything else you’ve thought of to add to the wish list?
Oh my God, I just saw this now…

I can’t even remember what I wrote in my blerb. I love surprises, so since I’m sure you’ve done the shopping already, I’ll be content to be surprised!
You are the speediest elf ever! I bow to your swift elven feet. I have always waited until near Christmas to open my COTH SS gifts. Do you mind if I stare at it for a little while? Unless it’s coal, I might have to burn it. It’s supposed to get cold here this weekend. ;)
Waiting is optional–elves are patient folk.

Comet, for the win.

Loving the rhymes.

I love riddles! Will be watching the mailbox. BTW, my little farmette has grown by one 9 month old Toy Fox Terrier puppy.
Murphy’s Mom, Murphy’s Mom!

Your first small gift is on it’s way.
It’s not a lot, but I hope it will help
in all of the farm/ranch ways!

The next gift is started.
It will get departed,
and be there long before Christmas Day!

PS. Look for a riddle when your first gift comes.

 • Your Elf
ZonderPaaaaaaaaaaard!!! I noticed a package with your name on it with stuffed down my chimney!!! OMG, I really want to look at it for a while before opening it. I at least have to wait until after Thanksgiving. I’m so glad the waiting is optional. THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!

Weeeeeeeeee!!! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Santa tells me he will be keeping a close eye on you … But it’s kind of embarrassing that you have more self-control than your elf does! I think the wait for you to open 'em will torment me, more than it will you. I’ll just have to manage.

Awww, I hope you enjoy a little bit of Wien under your tree, J-Lu.

I figured it out, my poor frozen elf  That was easier than I expected. Boy do I feel silly! Thank you again, I’m wearing the new socks to the barn tomorrow for my lesson with my poor unsuspecting trainer

Did you then? Who am I? And I suggest showing your trainer the hoof pick and saying you got a whole matching set of pads and wraps, just to see the reaction…

OMG!!! I hope I didn’t offend you about the comment I made in my “tell us about yourself” paragraph about salty Licorice! Hahahahaha! What are the odds that someone with a dutch name read that? (how embarassing!!):grief: :lol::lol:

It’s Flemish–they are not so fond of the Dutch either so it’s all good. LOL

And speaking of ‘what are the odds’, before I came here I lived in the Paris of the Piedmont.

I got a really nice card from California and it was my Elf. Thank you Elf.

Belgium? I can’t tell from your mailing address (heh heh). Wow, did you live in Greensboro? I’m so not sure what the Paris of the Piedmont is (I’ve only lived here for 4-5 years), but I’m so psyched you lived in this state! What ARE the odds?

I drank alot of Belgian beer in Holland. Mmmmmmmmmm.

I’m not opening your gift box until after Thanksgiving. I will give a more proper response then.

Greensboro?? OMG no.

And:
Hitler is stranded in Carrboro

As for the mailing address, yeah. Confusing. I was in the States for a bit and decided it was better to take the box with me and mail it from within the US. The Austrian postal service is quite unreliable.

But yes, before all that, I lived in Belgium. Apparently I have a thing for small countries.
