SECRET SANTA!!! - Let the thanks begin!!!
Dear elf from Folsom:

Home base in VA reports that your present has arrived safely. I will be home in early to mid January to open it. This year I get to trade willpower for (lack of) a plane ticket.
My ETA to VA will be late morning on January 8th, your package is waiting and I will report back then. Sorry to make you wait, Folsomelf!

Wow!

Great stuff from my fantastic elf!!

Poor dear was worried - the job not only has me stretched out, but having to come up with creative ways for mail delivery. I work during all post office hours, so when they couldn’t make it up my hill due to the heavy recent snows, I finally had them make the delivery to my insurance agent - who kindly left their hallway open for me since I get home around 8pm! (Thank goodness for small towns!)

Anyway, Mr. B has a lovely new saddle pad. Color coordinated to match the bling :tickled_pink: for his bridle. And an extra set of bell boots always needed - due to Mr. B’s long legs. he practically lives in his.

Some great socks for me, and an amazing candle. I can’t stop inhaling!!

Thanks to my wonderful SS. Sorry for the worries!

Another year of opening a box you know you’re going to love!!

Belmont - I’m glad you liked everything! It seemed like such a mish-mosh of stuff but I tried to include everyone and use most of the things you said you liked. I think the necklace is a magnet, so if you want to swap out any of the charms it’s easy to do. I was going to include a Christmas card to out myself and completely forgot before I sealed the box.

Happy, happy holidays and I hope you have a wonderful New Year!

I just wanted to give a HUGE thank you to my ss. Whoever you are I loved the George Morris book and have already read it once and I am going through it again to take notes. The cat necklace from etsy was beautiful!!! I unfortunately open those presents early because I thought they were things I ordered. But I kept the ginormous box of goodies for Christmas. I loved all the goodies inside, the Apple butter and maple syrup is my favorite. My boyfriend sends his thanks as well because I made him the apple cinnamon pancakes that were sooo good. Thank you so much you definitely lifted my spirits.

Elfetta!!
You are the very best elf ever. I opened the rest of my gifts Christmas morning. The horse treats will go to the barn. All the dogs were running after the treat ball (the great dane won). The grooming kit filled with all sorts of the coolest things imaginable was just over the top!! I just can’t thank you enough. You are so generous and a wonderful elf. Thank you so very much and I wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy and healthy 2015.
If you would like, I would love it if you would PM me and tell me who you are on CoTH. If you prefer to remain Elfetta I respect that (said the card enclosed) but I would love to know who you are.
Thank you again so very much!
Love Hazel

PrimoAmor,

Regarding the USPS grinches, I have looked up the procedures for filing a lost box claim. They say you have to wait 5 days after mailing for Priority, but I assume the 25th doesn’t count, so it will be Friday. It’s pretty clear from tracking that something has gone awry, but if it does happen to resurface before Friday, let me know. Otherwise, will start then on claiming insurance and replacing stuff. This is why elves should always keep shipment receipts!

Better that there was a problem with Box 1 than Box 2, but I’m sorry it won’t get there by Christmas.

Your elf
You haven’t responded to my PM. I very much DID get your package! I LOVE the ornament from Jerusalem! It is so perfect ??? I’m so glad that it didn’t get lost in the mail! I hang it in my room, over my menorah for the last night of Hanukkah on Tuesday and it will stay up all year in my room. I’ve also hung the little plague and the book is in my ‘to read’ pile ???

I am so excited for the second half of my package! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas.

As for my giftee, wireweiners. Your package was delivered a few weeks ago. I haven’t heard anything but I hope you enjoyed what I picked out for you!

Duh! I just looked back through email and found the PM, which had escaped my notice. I had realized it was delivered finally due to the online tracking. That was weird. I am a compulsive box tracker, and I have never seen one before make it all the way to out for delivery, then fall out of the system with a failure to update notice, then finally reappear marked delivered on a completely different day. I guess your mailman has a LONG route.

So glad it wasn’t lost. I could have replaced that box, but the thing from Israel would have taken weeks to get here again. You should hopefully get the second and larger box this week.

I am really enjoying Courtney King Dye’s book, elf! Lots of info about the horses through the years and their individual personalities and ways of going. I love books like that.

Thanks to a great elf!!! Crazy Horse well done!! Everything was lovely, treats, book, the saddle rack was especially appreciated…mr horseymum will be installing it soon! The sweater was a bit too big for her, but she has worn it around the house to keep warm! All the best to you over the holidays and thanks again!

CVPeg so glad that you liked everything! It was so fun to buy…glad that you finally got it, I am a compulsive box tracker once I send something

OMG! MY ELF IS BEST!!!

There will be one more wee, tiny package coming to you. You’ll already know who I am by the time it arrives but that’s okay!

I finally got to a special place today here in town to find a special something for you so it’ll be within the 12 days of Christmas. That should work!

Ho, ho, ho

You Elf
I finally go to open my presents (sorry I’m not home to know if the little one has arrived.) You are the best!!! How did you know that the towels would match the decor??? I feel like my elf had a spy camera and worked magic in every facet. My elf knew my weakness for chocolates and even got the exact brand I love best!!! Everything was absolutely perfect in colors and use. I’m wearing the scarf with my black dress as I 'm typing. It looks stunning!
Thank you, thank you thank you!!! It was so hard to wait but I am so glad I did.

PrimoAmor, I’ve had computer difficulties so haven’t responded. I loved the chocolates, the candles, and the soaps. The owl candle holders are cute and the horse ornament is on my tree. Thank you so much. I hope you had a Merry Christmas and best wishes for the new year.

Dear Zonderpaard,

Hebt u nog uw geschenken ontvangen? Het vak moet er zijn door Kerstmis. Als dat niet het geval is, zou het komen elke dag nu.

Your Elf.

I haven’t heard from my giftee as to whether she received her presents :frowning: I only had a PO box to send to, so I hope they made it!!

The same here :-(.

My elf still hasn’t revealed themselves. It was the first box I opened on Christmas day. Found some awesome baked goods, some mint hot chocolate mix that I can’t wait to try, and mice toys for Simba who promptly whacked them off the coffee table He obviously approves.

The enclosed note said that there would be a second box, but I haven’t received that yet. I’m starting to get worried that it got lost since I never saw any tracking info. If not, I hope my elf sees this and lets me know!

Lovely Bay

I was right, I was completely blown away by the “real” gifts. Fabulous bath salts and bath soaps in all the right scents, wonderful Earl Grey tea in several different varieties and a custom made bonnet for the new guy (he doesn’t have stuff yet, so this was perfect). Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! You completely rock and could have a new career as a personal shopper given how well you did on picking gifts for someone you don’t personally know.

LovelyBays…

I also admit I used your Amazon Wish list. It made shopping so easy for me with working wonky hours. The tea and dog cookies I had to go physically to the stores. I hope you like the tea.

It was really strange, especially because the mailman DID come down my driveway but left without leaving anything. Then the next day your box was in my mailbox. Super strange, but it got here so it really doesn’t matter much I suppose.

Excited for my second package  My birthday is Friday so I may just wait and open it then!

It is now 7pm on 12/30, and still no box and no communication from an elf. :frowning:
