I like to do both. But the card exchange is less stress if poop happens. (Right now poop has happened as my mom is in the hospital ATM for a fever - she has bone marrow cancer so they like to be paranoid - but I can’t go visit her because I am sick myself and she is on a ward with people who’ve had stem cell transplants and so no immune systems. Do not want to risk making them sick. But this is the kind of poop that happens to me often ATM and always throws off planning because of hospital related running around, etc.)

Part of my not complete love of the exchange was because last year (my first year) my horse passed away then I sold my second horse and was unsure I was going to keep the horse I was fostering, which I ended up not.

But I did thoroughly enjoy seeing everyone’s cards and I love getting mail I posted everyone’s cards on my bedroom door. Who knows, maybe I’ll join again this year and try to put more heart into it.

Just sent email to join in on the fun. This will be our first time. I signed up my pony clubber daughter as we just bought her the first horse in the family and take possession Thursday. She is super excited and this Christmas should be very special for her.
