The XX% is the total amount of TB blood. OX% is Arabian.

I’m assuming you bought her as a jumper. She’s defintely got some high powered jumping blood, and if she has any kind of competition record, she’s certainly worth breeding.

If you are going to breed her, don’t wait too long. For a first breeding, younger is better.
I agree, don’t wait too long to breed her if it is part of your plan for her. If you want to keep riding, maybe try embryo transfer?

OT, but Darco always reminded me of a Dachshund. He’s certainly one who, one would think, would benefit from mares with lots of blood.
Although there is an American breeder who advocates breeding Darco’s to TB mares, it’s not generally advisable as Darco’s are keen as mustard when jumping.

No apologies needed! I am enjoying the debate and finding it very interesting! Thank you also to those who are giving me more info on Diamant de Semilly. I am enjoying the discussion. As I said, I love to learn. (PS - what does it say that my autocorrect wants to make Semilly “Sexily”?? LOL)

@Didi, At the World Cup finals the sons of Cornet Obolensky dominate and only a son of Diamant de Semilly was able to join them.
@OBdB, Cornet only won 1 GP but performed exceptionally in Championships.

Darco is built as a real heavy horse. However, he transmits surprisingly quite a bit of blood. He does not requires a mare with that much blood.

It was this stallion that was considered the best showjumping stallion during the SF stallion inspection at the end of 2015. He was also considered the best showjumping stallion a year earlier. http://www.horsetelex.nl/horses/pedigree/1675461
