If you’re feeling more relaxed, he will too! Maybe he was just zooming to be done for the next lesson 
We did our 20 min “remember what we’ve been working on” ride tonight and he did great. I need to get him off his shoulder cantering to the right but his left lead canter was really nice, and he did well down the long side off a circle which is a newer concept.
He was pretty relaxed getting groomed under the lights again too and seemed pleased with himself afterwards
I’m realizing how tense I was at the last barn trying to ride between lessons, having to use half the arena, and being on a clock many occasions. I know that didn’t help anything that was bothering him in that arena already. Glad it was only a short stop there!
