Watched the first 3 from Woodbine tonight, Clic K is a pretty nice chestnut but I am not familiar with his bloodlines beyond Shanghai Phil.
An afterthought: Admirals Galley is by Laag.

I’ve watched Clic K race a few times at Rideau. Very nice horse! One of our drivers did well with him, (and I’m sure we’ve raced against him with our plain bays ;)) but he really seems to like the track at Woodbine!
Thanks for the info on Admirals Galley, I couldn’t remember who he was by and his site didn’t come up on the search I did earlier. Too much QH pedigree info in this blond head to keep up with all the standardbred pedigree info too.

Many of my neighbours are Standardbred people, and I used to take my stallion to a large STB breeding farm to be collected- and now that you mention it, I don’t think I ever saw anything other than bays/browns.
All the stallions at that farm were bays/browns.
I know they exist, - but I have never seen any out in the fields around here.
Back in Michigan in the 70s Chris Boring trained a grey STB. He was a rarity. I cant remember the horse’s name. It was not unusual for other horses to shy when they saw him. There were also flashy chromed out Dapper Baron horses around. And a line of true roans with dark heads and roan bodies. Red trotters were unheard of. I only remember one good red trotter.

How about a pinto? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9MnO1TvtHM&feature=youtu.be[/QUOTE]
OMG, I love it. I wish I could find a pinto OT horse (ST or TB) as then I could satisfy my sense of obligation (if I bet on them and make money I ought to at least give a couple a nice retirement) and my lifelong craving for a pretty pinto horse.
