just didn’t see the point of leaping into the air.
Hey again everyone!!
Our third show went spectacular, again taking champion in the wt. We did do a training level test this time- I got a 69.4 for second place and am absolutely delighted! We broke into the canter during our first canter circle oopsies but a 69 after having done that I was very pleased. And I got a 7.5 for my rider score which I’m so happy about.
We might be doing a silver show in August at the training level just for the fun experience.
She was such an amazing little horse. Who cares if she doesn’t jump like honestly I’m having so much fun.
Here’s a few photos. Ignore my knee- I accidentally nealt down in pee when wrapping her. And I know my eq isn’t flattering in this picture but she looks so light and floaty I just had to buy it.
You guys are a fantastic pair!
You both look amazing! Love the smiles, you look so happy.
Wow! What a lovely picture y’all make!
That is such the perfect attitude to have. And you guys look gorgeous together, pee stain and all.
The pee stain would be very easy to touch up and make that lovely picture frame-worthy.
Boy did you find a goldmine in her! Congratulations
She’s too cute!
Well it’s hot as heck this way this week. High of 39 today alone (102.2fahrenheit)
I had a pole lesson on Saturday early morning(trying to beat the heat) and she honestly didn’t have any issues with it, which wasn’t the case before. I think she’s getting stronger and maybe jumping will turn into a positive thing
one day.Raz is spending an appropriate amount of time in a lovely grass field/her turnout at night and is in during the hot, buggy, hot, warm, sweltering days. She has two friends in her turn out group both of whom love her to pieces(thank goodness)
Her original breeder is coming out on Wednesday to visit her!! It’s too hot to do much more than look at her though haha. I’ll update you all- I hope he has good stories about her.
Here she is in her field living the good life.
Stay cool out there guys
Awww
Average highs have been 100+ here and 60%++ humidity for weeks with no end in sight. It rains most evenings which just turns the air to soup and doesn’t lower the temp at all (not to mention the flooding…). It’s been trail rides and indoor schooling and hosing off before and after exercise here. Yuck. No one wants to do much at all!
I’m glad to hear y’all had a good ride, and it’s so cute that her breeder is coming to see her! 🥹
