Do you mean conchos? That’s a pretty typical kind of solution and good reason for the conchos rather then anything permanently attached…or that single big buckle in the back you still sometimes see. that ones easy to forget until you sit on a hard chair.
Mine aren’t really conchos. They are suede covered buttons.
