My friend Waz was telling me the other night how he was trying to sign up online for an upcoming Nimrod grooms reunion that someone had told him about. He was clueless, and I couldn’t find it for him with Google. Can you point me in the right direction so I can help him get organized? I have no idea what he’s talking about, but since you mentioned Nimrod I thought you might have a clue .
There was also Little Sailor, and Valhalla
Anybody remember Speechless or Auspicious?..Timmy Foster/Hoover…LOl
I do believe that the first time INS enjoyed visiting a horse show was Lake Placid.
I hate to say this Racetb, but maybe someone should find Richard seeing how he was showing the horse. I haven’t seen him for a while so don’t look for me to ask him. Someone MAYBE will think of who this horse is.
OMG Harry, one of Victors favorite horses…
Was Speechless also Robin Rost?
Chanda, I am sending you the info in a PT.
That, BH1, is what makes remembering them so special. Obviously, she was lucky to know you, too.

Jr was from my area. Don’t get me started about him. I will just say that I hope he went to **** when he died. That is all I am going to say.
Next,Foto Jeopardy 2

Boren was a medium bay with a blaze and no socks - I’ll dig up a pic later. I believe Viren was a darker bay.
All I know of Boren before I caught the ride was that he allegedly ran away with GM at the garden in the Working hack. He was a real tough one to finesse through the US classes.
I do want to say that Amy Cross did end up with Boren in her last year - I thought it was weird at the time, the similarities with the names. It was a long time ago.

Oh Cindeye, you are such a novice. I could’ve told you that. Now…can you remember the OTHER one he also won with in the amateurs? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>Not novice, just with Racetb…lots of pieces of film missing
Hell, over the weekend one of my old riding buddies from the 1970s reminded me that I’d showed Cash n Carry for Joey Darby…I’d completely forgotten! She also reminded me that I showed a couple of first year greenies for Stewart Moran. Two grays. Can’t for the life of me remember their names or how I came to ride them at Elmira. Ah, the loss of the little gray cells.
Now, back to Bruce. If I can’t remember the names of horses I showed, how in the hell am I going to remember the name of his horse? I kind of vaguely remember the first 15 minutes of a party at his spread near Libertyville. After 50% of the party goers drifted down to the indoor arena, things get a little fuzzy What in the hell was the name of the two show series outside Chi-Town?
The book is called Hunter Seat Equitation, like the OP said…
Jenno Topping was Charge Account’s rider. Fairly recent, but I’ve liked every photo I’ve ever seen of Scot To Do.
This goes back a few pages,But Harry mentioned an 18 H. hunter that the Lloyds’ bought…
Does anyone know what happened to those girls???
Heather & Kristina??? Anyone still riding???
Do they still own Any G.P. horses???
Some more, Quiet Flight-Mrs Randolphs nice gelding, Cold Climate-the Ruckers and Shining Hour-Bobby Burkes reg conformation horse. Loved that one…
You know alot of these guys weren’t so big. 16.1-16.2, most at 15.3 when one was at 17, holy moly looked like a giant. Not Always was big to me. He had the body to go with his height.
<BLOCKQUOTE class=“ip-ubbcode-quote”><div class=“ip-ubbcode-quote-title”>quote:</div><div class=“ip-ubbcode-quote-content”>Who was Vintage Year? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Tom Shroyer (sp)? had it, apparently.
That’s Jimbo on the bottom left and I should know who’s on the bottom right, but the brain is pretty old. I’ll keep thinking.
Yes…I remember him with Brian up! Remember Vince Dugan on Shredni?? I don’t know why, but I always got a kick out of the picture of Vince and that funny horse galloping around, with Vince sort of posting to the canter.
Wasn’t Savoy also owned/ridden at one point by Katherine (Cohen) Horowitz? I must say my favorite of all her horses was Embassy Row (though he came a bit later than most of the horses being discussed here).
