Show Me You Have A Horse

@IndysMom :worried: I had one if those. Subsolar abcess, sloughed half the frog.

8mos of soak, medicate, wrap - twice daily.
August through March :weary:
Got so he’d stand unhaltered, untied, in my aisle foot in a bucket, having his hay while I doctored the foot.

My Tell Me pic.
Sent to the guy I bought the jacket from for $1.
Fashion Forward… with feed station in the background :smirk:

Oh shoot, I didn’t get a photo of my green-slimed hand after I gave Feronia a small handful of treats today, right after she’d been grazing!

(Teeth, when her face was out of my peripheral vision while I was doing some stretches and she was much tighter than I thought she’d be :grimacing::sob:)

My horse has been gone for 2 1/2 years and I still have sweaters with hay in the pockets

Well, youll just have to treat her again

@Demerara_Stables I was bitten by the mare my DH was riding.
I was mad as the breeches I had on were new
Breeches weren’t harmed & I had a huge bruise in the shape of a horse’s wide open mouth on my thigh.

A month ago my mare slipped and fell with me going up a steep bank- I was lawn darted into the side of said bank. Yes, I had a helmet on (thank goodness or it would have been really bad)

A picture of my credit card statement would do it!

yeah- definitely not a fun outing. I looked like a freaking horror movie right after it happened, blood pouring down my face and, of course, I touched it, so all over my hands too. My mare decided she didn’t need to stick around so started calmly walking down the trail home, just far enough in front of me that I couldn’t get her. Fortunately, there was a hunter coming down the trail the opposite way and he grabbed her for me- then saw me and was like let me call an ambulance. I was like nah I’m fine but can you hold her while I hop back on. Guy looked completely aghast but did help me back on lol.
