I only have a head shot for now–I stole this off my stablemate’s FB page from our show last weekend. She’s making me a disk, I don’t know if she got a good conformation shot or not yet…

Filly is by Landfriese II out of a Galoubet A/Abdullah mare. Pic is from our first show! We were the only one in our class–first place!! lol. She was also champion filly (beating one two year old). Bummed there weren’t more entries, but SO happy with how laid back she was at the show and trailering. She was totally relaxed (except for the part where she had to leave her buddy to go into the ring alone…but that will come).

I finally took some updated pics of my yearlings last weekend. They’re 1.5 right now, so about as awkward as it gets And please excuse the manes that haven’t been pulled in … well, way too long!

First three pics are Legato FCF (L King Arthur/Cacique/Alcatraz), and last two are Caledonia FCF (Albarez/Contender/Latus II). Legato is a very nice horse and I can’t tell yet if he wants to be a dressage horse or a hunter. Cali is going through a majorly butt-high stage right now, but boy is she a cool horse. I can’t wait for her to grow up to start jumping her - she’s a keeper to replace her mom as a broodmare, but I have a feeling I may end up doing ET with her because I really want to see her go in the ring.

Mine is bleached and way butt high right now…his hind end looks 6 months older than his shoulder. Here’s a pic of him hiding behind the barn. So it goes!

I love the “aren’t we cute?” picture.

I have a love-hate thing for my yearling right now. Currently on a “hate.” 3 weeks ago I LOVED how she looked, and then I saw her again Tues. for a farrier visit and was embarrassed that I bred her. It is really the most amazing thing how quickly they change. Butt goes up and suddenly the nice shoulder looks straight and the neck lower. Yuck, yuck, yuck.

I’m just really peeved I didn’t get some pictures 3 weeks ago to hold me through the long winter.

You got it right Pumpkin…it’s a love-hate thing.

Those two yearlings of mine looked so bad in April that I could hardly stand looking at them LOL!

The grey one had the yak look and the other one was like a camel. The hubby (bless him) thought they were at their ‘cutest’ as the yak/camel buddies. Though I have to remember that this is same man who watching dressage at the World Cup turned to me and said, “I like your dressage better…this is too fancy for me.”

You all inspired me to take some video quick when I had my husband along the other night. L is 16 months. She was not happy to be in the indoor on a cold scary evening, with he buddies calling to her, but such is life!

Her breeding is Landfriese II/Galoubet A/ Abdullah. I am impatiently waiting to free jump her.

Thanks bkkone, the BEST thing about her is her personality though. She is almost bombproof and so kind and gentle for just a baby. I LOVE her!
