I sent a picture of Leia’s suture line to her cardiologist and he was very pleased. We make the trip up to the surgeon next week to have the sutures removed.
Behaviorally, Leia seems super!!! She is doing all normal doggie things and wants to do more! The more will be a bit, but the " leash" should be lengthened next week.

UPDATE
Leia continues to do well. The suture line continues to look good. Leia goes in to get her sutures removed on Monday and get a quick check by her cardiologist. She no longer needs Rimadyl. I’m hopeful that we can lengthen the “leash” after Mondays visit. 
Hoping for a leash free Tuesday for Leia.
In light of the Coronavirus thread, I thought I would update this one.
It’s all good. Leia comes off antibiotics this evening. The swelling is almost gone. Leia had her first run yesterday afternoon. My hubby told me that she had a blast! It’s kind of like having a new dog. Oxygen is a wonderful thing!
Please do me a favor and go hug your horses, dogs, cats or whatever you have. You never know what is around the corner.
