Smart/sports watches

Thank you, good idea to try. :sunglasses:

I have an Apple Watch but I have never slept with my watches on. so slapping it on the charger isn’t a big deal to me. The fall protection thing is great and annoying at the same time.

Sorry I’m not more helpful.

Also have an Apple watch and it did go off the one time I took a nasty tumble. I quickly turned it off as no ambulance was needed.
Sometimes it is annoying! It has gone off if I land hard on my feet when dismounting. Once or twice it’s gone off when I give my pony a very hard ‘good-boy’ pat on the neck.
As long as you recognise the ‘falling-off signal’ that the watch is giving you, there is plenty of time to turn it off.
I’d rather be a bit annoyed an know I have the protection when if fall.
I also don’t wear it to bed and put it on the charger at night, but it usually has at least 60% left so I could probably get 2 days out of the charge.

I have an I watch 6, mainly for the fall notifications.

It lasts about36 hours on a charge. I’ve gotten into the habit of putting it on the charger at dinner time. It takes about an hour to charge fully.

I’ve had the Coros for 9 days now, and my battery is still at 42% from its initial charge. My husband (A G-Shock aficionado) was so impressed that he bought himself one! He’s finding the step tracker and HR monitor a real novelty

Those of you with the iWatch 6, is fall detection on all the time? Or do you have to turn it on?

I have a garmin 245 and I love it. Not nearly as fancy as the others, but I get notifications and can track my rides, and also has the fall detection.
