Smartpak is having a nice sale at last! At least 20% off anything with the Smartpak house label.
But! As is always the case for Smartpak’s geniuses, they advertise the percent off wrong (IMO) for USEF members.
The constant deal is that USEF members always get 5% knocked off the price. So when stuff goes on sale, no, we don’t get, say, 25% off the full price. And my USEF discount is advertised as that. We get 20% off full price and then 5% off that discounted price; we get 5% off of that 80%. That’s not equal to 25% off the full price.
It just pisses me off that either they don’t know this bit of 4th grade math…. or that they think consumers don’t know. And really, they are not giving the discount advertised. How do they get away with that? The last is a serious question.
