Our bridle is put together… the cheekpieces and crown are an older Passier bridle (not sure size, its secondhand. It is at the smallest setting) but for his giant nose we have a draft size noseband, I think Nunn Finer. Browband needs to be bigger but does the job, I picked it up in Spain.
Look at DP saddlery. They make some beautiful bridles geared towards baroque horses.
After trying multiple bridles for my horse, who has a horse sized crown, cob sized cheek straps, and a refined nose, I went to Horsebyhorse.com. Stephanie used custom measurements to create the perfect fit for him, with a browband that could not be blingier! Really pleased to finally have something that fits each part of his gorgeous head.
What about a traditional Iberian bridle? I’ve always loved those big square buckles!
