How much did people pay for these?
Just wanted to let everybody know that I got my shipping confirmation for my Soloshot 3 on Monday. Shipping date is in a week. The only bummer is the indoor tag won’t be ready until early 2018 but for outside it looks like it’s going to be awesome. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Do I understand correctly that it hasn’t shipped yet? How is this notice different from any of the other promised dates that weren’t met? Thanks

Around $350 was what I paid (it’s been so long I’ve forgotten and I’d have to look it up!) at a deep, pre-purchase discount. A few of us went together to buy it for my trainer. It’s become a running joke now.
I paid $599 in September 2015 for the Optic 65. The current pre-order price is $899. I think the wait is easier for those of us who have Solorshot2s. Not only are we able to keep videoing our rides, but we know the quality of both the product and the customer support. Honestly, if it were not for the amazing early pricing, I would not have upgraded. I love my Soloshot 2!!!
Keep us posted when you actually have them in hand. After all this time a shipping confirmation wouldn’t mean much till I had a real tracking number.
For crowdfunding this new product for this company and for all the delays and run around, you all should be getting a bonus with your solo shot, not just the $300 savings.

Many people on here have already received their SS3. I received my address confirmation email and so far everyone is receiving the product within 2-3 weeks of receiving that email. I misquoted the pricing – I paid $499.50 for the Optic 65 and the indoor accessory. Today the total price for those two items is $1,099.98.
I am not thrilled that it took this long, but I have the SS2 which I love so it has not been a problem. I look at it as if I invested in the company and received a 100% return in two years.
Edited to add: I forgot to mention that you are not hearing about the SS3 shipments as we have all moved to a FB group for our SS3 discussions so as not to bore everyone on here.

I don’t think anyone following this thread would mind hearing from someone/anyone who actually has a unit in hand! Be nice to hear initial impressions.

I paid 1/4 of the current price for mine…which I hope to set up and try on Sat or Sun. I’ve never used the SS2 and will happily share my impressions.

I got an email asking me to confirm my shipping address. In fact, I received two emails. Lol
its probably for an accessory but I decided to have some fun with it. I replied to the email and noted that I had received two confirmation emails and was thrilled to be receiving two units. I thanked them for their generosity in doing this to make up for the two year wait.

People have them – including J-Lu two posts above. People on here have them and are using them. I should have mine before Thanksgiving.
Yes, Snowdenfarm is correct, I have mine already and tried it today. One needs internet to set it up and the internet at the barn is slooooowwwwww. It set up rather easily, and was seemingly easy to use, but I was not able to download any recordings because they were lost. Another person on COTH who already has hers mentioned that if the unit powers down while in tracking mode, the video is lost. That is likely what happened, because I think I did one long recording. I had it on for about 3-4 hours today and it was shut off when I was finished with my ride. I will try again tomorrow and not have it on for 4 straight hours.
The videos that people have posted have been impressive to me - or basically, exactly what I want. I’m on the new-user learning curve…
They probably aren’t sure how to respond!!! And they are probably dealing with all kinds of responses these days. When I got my confirmation, I responded with positive comments and they sent me personal comments the next day, so they do read emails even if they don’t respond. You’ll very likely have it in your hands within 2 weeks.
