The Last Captive is the sire of Capture The Flag, the horse that Dr. Scott Myers is bringing along in AQHA over-fences competition. He and the horse were fifth in the all-around amateur competition at the Select World Show for amateurs over age 50. I’ve been impressed with the horse’s brain and beauty.
I’ve met The Last Captive in person, and he’s a nice, kind horse, though gelded now.
His sire, Last Detail, is also known for siring good ammy-level horses, and through his bottom side, he traces to Lady Bug’s Moon, a racehorse known for siring ammy-friendly barrel racing horses.
I don’t know anything about the TB on the bottom side of your horse’s pedigree.
