I can probably post a picture later but for now I have a question, I now this wound will take a long time and I have an idea how it will turn out.
It is too early but I discussed with my vet using a hock boot to make thing easier and easily keep him wrapped up for a long time, I know the proud flesh is a bugger to fight.
I found an old wrap in a box and it might work.

The wound goes from where the white writing starts, straight across several inches, has anyone tried a hock wrap and do you think it will stay in place over dressing and vet wrap? Thanks

You can ![](ake a spider bandage for his hock - just get a square of fabric and rip/cut strips on two sides, so you can wrap the whole part around the hock, and tie the strips together along the length of the leg. http://www.cheshirehorse.com/spider-wrap
