We had one with springer rage. Her pupils would suddenly get large and she would snap and try to bite you.
Well she is home! She is really lovely. Curled up in my lap right now as I type. Or as much in my lap as she can fit. She is very obedient and very social and her old owners did a great job with her. I adore her and she was worth the search and the long drive for sure.
Vet appointment tomorrow morning just to get her checked out and arrange her spay.

So glad you reported back to us - so often we never hear the end of a thread. I was pulling for the Springer all along since I am very fond of the English hunting breeds with their soft mouths and friendly people mindedness.
There are stories regarding every breed that could put people off…

Thanks everyone! She is ridiculously perfect (even the vet said so!). So well behaved, super friendly, and just a total sweetheart. Definitely happy to go on walks and loves to play tug/mini fetch but has an “off” button for sure and is very good about entertaining herself with a chew or crashing on the couch and sleeping while I’m working (I work from home). I haven’t really left her alone much yet, but I left her in her crate for about an hour while I ran some errands and she was great yesterday and left her loose in the house for about 30 minutes while I stepped out this morning and she was also fine (although she lay by the door the whole time, poor girl). She was a little off her food, but I made some chicken and rice and that did the trick.
