I was trying to get clarification. So, please correct me if I’m wrong: you prepaid for 3 months? You were there for 2 months before you left? You put a stop payment on the check for the full 3 months?

If that is the case, then I’m sorry, but I can’t blame Stableview for being upset with you. I can see NOT paying for the month you weren’t there because you left early due to construction. I mean, that seems fair- you felt it was dangerous, you left, Stableview may not legally be required to refund you, but it would be the fair thing to do. I can’t see you NOT paying for 2 months of services that you used.

Me? Am I one of those you are accusing of being a troll? Friends of the owners? I have never even been there, and I do not even know the owners’ names. I have just heard great things about the facility and am looking forward to seeing it in person during my time in Aiken.

Also if Cupcake’s assessment is correct, and the OP put a stop payment on a check for the full 3 months, well, then, I am guessing OP is lawyering up. But I think the OP said that she has threatened to stop payment, but hasn’t done so yet.
