Stallions that compliment thoroughbred mare (CAN)

Hi All!

This is just meant to be “fun” for now, and a dream I’ll embark on potentially next year.
What are you recommendations on stallions currently standing in Canada to produce a jumper foal?
The mare I would be breeding is a 15.1hh thoroughbred mare that showed up to 1.20m jumpers.
The faults I would ideally like to improve on are:
Jumping style/form
General conformation (typical thoroughbred with long pasterns etc.)
Height- would like to produce a taller thicker framed foal, but still have the longer neck and athletic body frame.
Of course you cannot guarantee what you produce, but ideally, what stallions would be your top pick?
The couple I have in mind are below. Do you have any knowledge you could share about the stallions?

Looking forward to hear all your great suggestions and knowledge!

Gatsby  Adds height. Adds bone to finer mares. Crosses very well with TB mares. Ammy-friendly offspring (good minds, not dull/slow horses). He is very prepotent for all that.

I own a young mare that is the result of Gatsby x TB mare. She is everything JB said except the height - but I think she’s the exception not the rule on that one (and I may get another inch or so out of her).

She’s got an incredible ammy-friendly brain even as a 4 year old. She’s got better confirmation than her dam - even if currently a bit physically immature. She’s athletic with a good work ethic but not so athletic that she’s tricky to ride.

I would buy another in a heartbeat if I was looking for another horse!

OP says she’s looking specifically for stallions standing in Canada…OP, any reason why you wouldn’t consider shipped fresh or frozen semen from a source outside Canada?

Jethro Tull??

Mara, the only reason being this is my first breeding endeavour and I didn’t even begin to think about importing frozen semen. But this is something I’ll consider. Thank you!

Thanks for the recommendations everyone. Some good ones I didn’t consider.
