Stifle Injuries and Operations...experiences?

mvp would never offend on purpose! We are all hoping for a good report on your horse. Mine did not fair so well with his stifle issues and it caused me retire a perfectly healthy 7 yr old. It’s great to hear good outcomes!

I was not offended, I was just addressing what she was saying/suggesting.

Again yesterday they lunged the horse, they backed him up, they turned him, and nothing. I also walked him around the track there and he was fine. I will pick him up today and get started on a regular fitness program for strengthening they was discussed with the vet. I think the first week will be in-hand and long lining because the saddle fitter must make a minor adjustment to his saddle this week.

We are fortunate enough to have many hills so we will incorporate that, cavaletti work, and transitions.

Sweet! More and more this sounds like something he did to himself that just made muscles sore, or inflammed a ligament, and now it’s all but overwith. Or it was literally a brief growth spurt that caught his muscles by surprise, and now they’ve caught up to it all.
