Never tried it!
I used to use this stuff back in the day. Works great.
If you can find one without any cornstarch, I don’t see why not, it’s just finely ground sugar.
But I believe most contain a small amount of cornstarch, and cornstarch increases bacteria growth, so I would be hesitant to use it for fear of it making the paste less effective.
Alternatively, get a grinder or something and pound your own sugar into powdered sugar.
If you have a good blender (like a Vitamix) you can powder the sugar in that. Not sure it makes a lot of difference once liquid is added, but worth a try just for fun.
