Very sad about Becky Holder. Her horse definitely looked uncomfortable. It was interesting to see how the horses performed in SJ based on their jog out. Some in jog out were like “let me at another XC course!” while others looked like they would rather be reading the Sunday paper. A couple passed but were very tired, with ears back during the jog and it showed in stadium.
What a thrill and honor to watch all of this in person.
Small world, ran into my same new friend at the jumping last night…turns out Jaguar sustained a puncture injury through his protective boots when he hit a fence. He was under agressive treatment at the vet hospital for several days but is in good shape and will be able to travel home with the team, reasonably good odds he will be sound for riding.
