I just saw the FLY ENFORCERS stick art (late to the party as always!).

Right now it is not flies. It is hair. He grew a yak coat this year - I think because he stayed inside the deep dark depths of the run in while the flies were out in summer, and ventured out only after dark, his “hair growing” clock thought, “I see - winter starts here in June!”
And now, of course, the days are getting longer, and the hair is jumping ship. And Ted is itchy itchy itchy.
