:lol:Update on my horse in hiding
 I think he had completely converted to being a country horse now
 he doesn’t want to be a city horse anymore:lol::lol:

Yesterday my friend brought horsey in
 usually he eats in the barn aisle while other chores are being done but being large he takes up the whole width of the barn aisle
 my friend thought
 well I have an empty stall I’ll just put him in there for a minute while I take hay out to the rest of the critters so I don’t have to squeeze past him
 sounds all well and good
 he’s been stalled all his life
 no problems
 well horsie had a fit worthy of HRH Avery’s woody pet proportions
 she said she came back in barn and horsey is digging his way to Reynard Ridge in China
 raking his teeth over stall front
 and weaving like a horse gone mad
 didn’t touch his grain at all
 and she was only out of the barn maybe 
MAYBE 10 minutes!!!. She was like OK I GET IT you don’t like the stall
 she let’s him out
 moves his food to the barn aisle where he will eat it only if she is standing beside him
 petting him
 and keeping him on task
( I have been keeping him company during meals and scritching him since I can usually see him everyday
 this is something he used to LOATHE
 but now apparently can’t eat without:winkgrin:) He finishes his grain and immediately goes to the barn door to go back outside
 and stomps impatiently when she is not quick enough to open the door
 (this is the same horse that a month ago thought he would melt if left outside in the rain:rolleyes:) and he trots then canters to where his “friends” are. Apparently he finds stalls to confining now for his wanderlust horsie on the run nature now.:lol:

This morning I go to feed him and we are turning the mamma and baby goats out
 the Prince in training is again taking up the whole aisle munching away
 as goats run around him and under him to get outside. He doesn’t stop eating doesn’t look up
 as baby goats run under his belly to their mammas. I even went to let the babies out of the stall right in front of him and the baby pulled a matrix act and starting running around the stall walls
 and slammed the door open
 hitting my guy’s feed bucket and him a little in the head
 I thought Oh SH@t this is it
 nope he didn’t even look up
 he looked sideways as if to check to make sure the guy was all right but never moved!!! I swear this has been the best despooking program EVER!!!:yes::lol:

My friends little neighbor kid I think she is 3 or 4 asked her the other day where she got the purple horse from??? My friend was a bit confused then she realized she ment my guy since he has his purple blanket on
 Evidently the girl had never seen a horse wear a blanket before and from a distance thought my friend had found a new breed of purple horse
 and purple being her favorite color 
 wanted one:lol::lol::lol: It took a while of talking to let her know that the horse wasn’t purple that he had purple clothes on.:lol::lol:
Ahh country life
 I think horsey is going to revolt when he actually has to go back to work again

My DH loves to tell his story of tagging along to a Beverly Hills party many years ago. It turned out to be in a mansion owned by the guy who wrote the theme song to Green Acres. There were real Renoirs hanging on the walls.
