HL: Astroturf actually we laid it over the rubber padding underneath… that way they bounce when they fall…

Well DD had a wonderful lesson today… Horsie was fabulous for her… he may just turn into a hunter yet… I have a couple of short vids from the lesson today…

Hard to believe that just before we left the previous trainer she had to Ace him prior to letting my daughter ride him due to him being a bit hot. That was clue number 181 that things were not well at that barn as this is his usual laid back self.

How did you ever figure out he was about to be stolen from you? I’m afraid that if I’d been in your place, all the hints would have flown right over my head. He’s so nice and he and your daughter get along so well, having him snatched would have been heartbreaking.

HL: They are usually angry after that … we have to pay the aid’s hazard pay for that job… and they “rinse” in the second water element…

HL: Then they prepare for the next rider… It’s not perfect but it is the only way we can get them in the water…we tried this with the jumpers but they kept jumping over the pool…

No that is not a hairdo… that is her head… ON FIRE!!!

One of our patients on a large amt of oxygen got into her purse and decided to play with her lighter… and SET HERSELF ON FIRE!!! She looked like Ghost Rider… head ablaze and a loud WHOOOSH out of the room as she burst into flames… We got her extinguished quickly… had to put a tube in to help her breathe… but my goodness … in all my years of nursing I have never heard someone call out… “Pull the fire alarm the Patient is on FIRE!!” I work at a Catholic Hospital and one of our nurses is a nun and She screamed out the F bomb… :eek: I need a drink… and then some sleep and praying that all will be better tonight when I go back to work. :sigh:
