My horsie would disown me permanently… because I do own a leapord printed fitted pad…:uhoh: the last time I laid it out he picked it up and tossed it… … (He’s a touch opionated.:lol:) He really doesn’t even like my tipp helmet… he tries to take it off my head whenever I am wearing it. (He doesn’t do this with my GPA however:rolleyes:) He is like “It’s bad enough I put up with your riding but I refuse to look silly doing it” :sigh::lol::lol:TB’s gotta love em.
UGGGGG The learning impaired nurse showed up last night… it was worse than I imagined… aside from the work stuff the horse stuff as well. She asked why I had my horse in training and I tried to explain it to her… in simple terms that he was getting ridden by trainer once a week to fine tune some things in addition to the 2 or 3 days a week my daughter and I ride him. Her response… Why don’t you just have trainer ride him 4 or 5 hours every day for a month and be done??? Then you won’t have to train him again.
That’s when I checked her bag for crayons…:eek:
I rode Paris yesterday! For the first time in over two weeks!
I expected her to be off, because she hasn’t had a shoe on in awhile, but she was totally sound, and trotting long and low.:yes: We did light work of course, but she was so good!
And I think she missed going for rides…

I have been writing the lit review for my thesis. And for every bit of thesis I force myself to write I get to read some of the Stick Art History…
Several times I have wanted to make a comment about something and have had to tell myself…self…this is over a year old…keep it to yourself. Take notes and compile it into a general comments post at the end. But I could not hold off any longer. Because…I love this song. I did not even know other people even knew this song anymore!! Imagine the hysterical peels of laughter from a very brain fried eyesontheground. I think this was just the break I needed to get back into the next section…:lol:

Well, I didn’t use the cow pad today so I don’t have any pictures. That will have to wait until Tuesday since horsie is seeing the dentist tomorrow and getting his weenie cleaned. I know, TMI:lol:
I went on a training trail ride and I didn’t want to use a new piece of equipment. Good thing too since we spent 15 minutes going up and down one steep hill until we could get the horses to go down straight and balanced without rushing and falling on the forehand. I think my saddle would have slipped on the cow pad since it’s made of a slippery fleece. That would have been funny-MLC riding down the hill on horsie’s neck:)
But everyone who saw the cow pad squealed with delight. I might do a schooling show in October. Should I dare to use it then?
And DGRH, I know it’s not a customized peep pad, but it’s the best that I could do to honor my former working cattle horse that’s being forced to learn dressage.
