Okay, this is awful;) …but I’m sick…
My boys have denuded the palm trees of ours that they can reach… fortunately, they are too “energy efficient” (read: lazy) to think about standing up on the wall to see if they could reach any more of the fronds from that position.

GM, Aunt Esther, and Pocket Trainer (aka Mini-Me) hoist celebratory wine glasses.
I have been lurking in on this thread until the palm tree stories. My gelding would do the giraffe to get to the apricots. He would wait until they were ripe then stand on his back legs nearly straight and pick the fruit. He would then eat the flesh and spit out the pit. I thought this strange but he does the same with cherries and grapes. One place we lived had some old grape vines that he would eat the grapes off of. One grape at a time and spit out the seeds. At least he is a healthy eater he won’t touch peeps or any of the sugar stuff but he will eat any fruit he is presented. He raided the strawberry patch one spring and nearly lost his home for it.

As it turns out, Pocket Trainer (aka Mini-Me) is a lightweight.

Then GM starts to get silly.
Aunt Esther is aghasted at the boys’ low tolerance for alcoholic beverages.

The neighbors also have fruit trees- but they are unreachable by horse lips- much to the horsy’s dismay. But a valiant effort was given though!
Large round mare is also good at climbing the pipe rail fencing, we moved that away from the concrete wall since it gave her added leverage
Ah, the beauty of peach trees (here in south GA!) is that they are short enough for even the small pony to pick peaches! Thus, I will be closing of the peach orchard in the very near future.

AhHA! Lost Farmer pops out of lurkerdom!!!
Now there’s some imagery for you artistic types.
Okay, background, Grand Tetons - visually stunning. LF, a male type person not so much on the small side, with some VERY hard working painted ponies - VERY hard working in that the ponies work on a dairy farm during the day hauling hay for the ladies and pull huge weighted sledges for s*&*s and grins on the weekend.
LF also has four human children (Lost #1 - Lost #4) and maybe the most patient spouse on the planet (next to Mr. RR, of course ). They drive the ponies (when they are not otherwise occupied) to church and for ice cream.
One would think certain individuals on this thread could have a field day with the above imagery  . And I will step aside, leaving the artistry to the real artists.
DressageGeek, SuperSTB, and PercheronX: Thanks! I think it started a couple days ago, but I had a lesson yesterday and I felt so much better when I was at the barn!
