I can’t give you any advice on the AVM, but on the POTS you might want to consider seeing Jaradeh or Miglis at Stanford. They have a center for autonomic dysfunction.

did you ever have a consultation with an interventional radiologist? Embolization of peripheral AVMs can be performed as a minimally invasive (nonsurgical) procedure through a tiny catheter threaded through the groin. I’m sure UCSF or any of the large hospital systems in CA would have an interventional radiologist who would be happy to talk to you about your options. This may be a less risky procedure for you. just thought i would mention it.
