Synthetic saddle question and about retailer...

Great discussion, thanks to all that share their experience. I too am looking for a lighter synthetic saddle. Bought a leather one imported from India and it fits my mare well, but it is amazingly uncomfortable after awhile on the old seat bones…Also don’t like lifting the thing. It is said to have a hardwood tree (who knows, it is heavier than a synthetic) and lots of tooling like Kevin mentioned!

I repeat: Big Horn with the nice sueded seat…comfy city. Strong and a good tree. Light as a feather.

The others listed here are also great…really depends on how it fits your horse AND your own seat! Kevin’s info is really great!

At least there ARE some good choices now. I, for one, am grateful as it allows me to keep riding.
