T.C senior noticed a change but from a certain mill

Their formula may not have changed, but the quality is not the same unless you like you horse eating from a bag of grit.

I’ve not had a single issue with TC Sr or 30 that I’ve been feeding for several years, both before and after the change from Cargill to Purina.

If you’re having issues, it’s a mill-dependent thing, and you need to be talking to your TC rep. That’s all it takes. If you don’t like the help you’re getting from your rep, then take it higher. They really, really do care.

I have to say that I HAVE noticed grit/dirt and small rocks/sand at the bottom of a bucket after adding a pound of TC senior to a 5 gallon bucket of hot water to make a soup for my senior to drink.

But I noticed that before and after the Purina change and also with just
t shredded beetpulp by a different brand than both.

A little un-nerving also.

That can definitely be a function of beet pulp. I’m sure it depends on where the beep was harvested. I used beep for years, in small enough amounts that I saw every piece that went into buckets, and never had rocks or other things people have found.
