6’ and I rode 2 that were 15.2h.
I trained a welsh who was under 14.2
and I rode my friend’s pony around XC a few weeks ago. she is 14h.
On the ponies, BN is good enough for me. lol.
On the horses in the 15 hand range. The sky was the limit. I didn’t have physical issues jumping them up to prelim height. It felt normal.
The horse I fit well was 17h. He was just too big though. I currently really enjoy my 16.1hander. He’s super easy to hit the strides with. That 17 hander was always leaving steps out and yanking the reins out of my hands over the fences. weeeeee!
