“My” Sea The Stars filly Lot 7 was the sales topper at 260,000 gns until the Sea The Stars colt Lot 160 sold for 300,000 gns.
Do these yearling look different than the US yearlings? I have never watched one of those auctions but when I see pictures it usually looks like they can be smaller (and not as mature looking) with longer coats and manes, etc.
@ravenclaw This is their last yearling sale of the year. It’s cold there now. A few had winter coats but where they are bred doesn’t affect the coat, the length of coat depends on if the horses are left in their natural state or blanketed and/or clipped.
This group had large and small yearlings, just like the later books at Keeneland. These are turf bred though.
