Tell me about your Irish Draughts...
I just followed your page horsetales.

Gottagrey: just had a chat with DH about Colin Diamond. I’d not seen him before and seems my DH hadn’t either. I think we will be going to have a look at him at some point, with a view to using him in the future.
I wish I knew who his dam was. A friend of mine in Ireland picked him up at a sale. I got my Irish horse because i wanted BONE after having 2 horses w/ spindly legs. Now I am so surprised when i see some people on big (talll) TBs and so often their legs look so tiny. Anyway my Colin is an absolute joy! While he might not be a superstar in English type divisions - he certainly has held his own - usually always in the ribbons which makes him a star in my book and good on trails too!

Of note when I first got him he was grey w/ lots of brown hairs - almost a roan, then he got darker, beautiful dapples, and now he’s almost white. Since he’s a sport horse he’s a little lighter boned. i would love hear if you go see Colin Diamond.

Definitely will.

Whats your boys name?

I train for a couple that has bred some absolutely stellar ISH get. I have the pleasure of riding 3 Snowford O’Donnell 8 year olds 2 Braveheart 7s and one Steeped In Luck 7 yo and two 5 year olds by their stallion Manu Forti Touch Down, he is by Touch of the blues. They also have a pure bred full sister to the stallion Manu Forti Soft Touch and a 16 yo mare by TotB
