Temperament Stallion

Rubino Bellissimo

Olivier at Imajica

I’ve known several of his foals. All have been easy to start and handle. Many have been successfully and easily started by amateurs. I’ve ridden a four year old by him bareback with less than a year under saddle…and had fun!

Kinnaras has a super temperament. I’ve ridden/groomed/braided/hung out with him and he’s extremely laid back and easy. One of the most “chill” stallions I’ve ever met, for sure.

Sir Oldenburg[/QUOTE]

I was wondering about Sir Oldenburg actually - I was very interested in him but watched some youtube videos of him and he appeared to me to be a bit of a handful and hot tempered. Can anyone comment that has experience with Sir Oldenburg?

I love the "R’ line…have crossed a few with my hunters…the temperment can’t be beat…soo solid and kind!

Do you have a Werbellin filly?

Rodawn, many of those stallions on that list did not go to GP.

Did I miss the announcement? Is Tuesday “Zombie Thread Day”?

Rubignon…super, super personality and temperament, and very, very elastic, springy movement!

I think of Contango, Donnerhall crosses, Rubinstein crosses, Idocus crosses, Briar.

This is the zombie thread to go along with the vampiric, will never die but will suck the life out of you “TB Kills the Jump?” thread.

Interesting to me that Idocus was mentioned here, more than once. I only know two offspring, but from those I would never have guessed he’d be known for passing good character/temperament.

This is a really old thread!

But if someone were still looking and found this old thread, I might state that Rousseau throws extremely good temperament and went Grand Prix.

Baroncelli is another who has gone Grand Prix and throws extremely good temperament.
