So far, no. Our barn stores the trailers for a friend, and the horses use them for wind block and sunning, but do not chew on them. The trailers are not attached to the trucks.
Ive used my trailer and parked it outside the fence. Also, we use the electric tubs, bigger than the buckets, run an extension cord and carry water.
My guys never bothered the truck or trailer, just stood in the lee of it. I was amazed at the difference it made.
How about getting some big squares of hay, tarp them up and put a pallet underneath. Then you can feed them in the spring.
