Thank You to COTH - A Fine Romance Obituary

Fred, we will never tire of hearing your stories and bragging on your beloved boy. It helps put him in perspective for how much and how deeply you loved him.

At least for me, carry on bragging about his children or Fred :slight_smile: I love reading about them with a bit of a personal touch.

I also believe that one day you will be reunited with him {{}}

I always read your posts because my first lesson horse as a kid was a greenbroke TB named Fred.

Your love with your Fred sounds wonderful and I hope all his offspring bring you continued happiness. Thank you for sharing his story.

I don’t know, Fred - I think your carrying on about “the” Fred endears you to us -as we all “get it”. :slight_smile:

How fortunate you were to have such an exceptional horse, and thank goodness he landed in your care, so that you could share him best - in your care of him, your overseeing his career, and making it possible that others could have a piece of him as well.

You do his legacy justice. Pretty obvious you were meant to.

xoxo

Yes, please share stories, photos of Fred, his get, everyone who can. If it would be ok with you.

Gail, we’ve never been bored. You thought he was very special because he was!

Please do write about him to us. We don’t think you are silly for loving him so much and for wanting to share your love for him. You are speaking to friends.

I wish that I could ease your heartbreak. You have been a good friend to so many people (myself included though we are only acquainted online) and I think you underestimate how many people here care very much about you.

I am so happy to read the COTH tribute to Fred. Well done COTH:yes:

I have never been annoyed by your stories; I like them. Come to think of it, I enjoy hearing everyone’s stories about their horses.

We are a community of horse lovers and we’ve felt your joy with his every accomplishment and your sorrow with his passing. Grief is the price we pay for love and your continued grief speaks volumes of your tremendous love.

I will echo others and say…Thank you Gail for gifting the horse world with your Fred, he has enriched not only your life, but countless others. He was and will continue to be the gift that keeps on giving.
