My horse goes in a 3-point breastplate with running attachment. My belly guard has the carabiner clip on it that we use during shows and 1.10m+ schoolings at home. But I also have an anatomical girth (or small belly guard) that instead of the carabiner clip has a metal D for training tools (we use with with the Ultimate Side Reins) but also a buckle design with a leather strap that I use for my breastplate. With the buckle design with the leather strap it a bit safer than the caribeaner. I am looking to “upgrade” my belly girth once funds allows to something simliar as my other girth.
