Re apparently lacking ground lines – as mentioned, a lot of the jumps in the photos aren’t yet dressed. Flowers etc. decorative matter may bloom in the gaps before the horses get there.
Re rounded facing jumps, re Saturn – I’ve seen round jumps on Intermediate courses before. It’s another accuracy and knowledge question. Horses adopt a very narrow focus on the upcoming jump. If they are channeled properly they don’t necessarily see anything other than the very narrow track of their own body over the jump. Same question as a corner.
Re jumps with keyholes, overheads, etc. – Studies show that horses don’t see above the level of the base of their own ears. If they raise their heads they can see higher, but they are usually just looking forward from a different angle. The horses don’t know what is overhead on the approach and while they are jumping, their eye is drawn downward and forward. That overhead stuff is just for spectators and photographers!
