I’m interested to know which platform they used. I’ve stood on a couple different brands. The Equivibe gave me a headache in 30 seconds and aggravated the arthritis in my neck as soon as I got on it. I got off feeling worse than when I stepped on.The Theraplate took my tight back muscles away in about 10 minutes and I felt no ill effects. I figured whatever it did or didn’t do for the horses, alleviating my own tightness and lower back pain was awesome…so I bought one.
While I don’t think either brand has any magical powers. I do think the Theraplate has a place in my barn.
I have never, for one minute, had any thoughts that the Theraplate could make a lame horse sound or could somehow replace my veterinarian. To me, it’s like a big massage chair for the horses. I use it before and after the rides. Most horses in the barn love it. There are a couple in the barn who, if left loose for a second while I grab something off my tack box, will climb on it by themselves and then just look at me as if to say “Well? Aren’t you going to turn it on?”
They are softer over their backs on the days I tack them up on the plate. You can study it all you want. My horses say they love it ad that’s all I need to know.
