The *Real* Clinton Anderson (profanity)

He gives no more clinics, hasn’t for years, he retired 6 years ago. He did a few tours a year, now he is retiring from that. He doesn’t train outside horses, only his certified whatever he calls them, ambassadors, clinicians? train outside horses with the method and not at his private ranch. He only does marketing for his company, others run it. He says in several podcasts he is trying to get canceled but the more he tries, the more successful the company is. He is training with successful cutting trainers, Matt Gains, and Ranch riding top trainer, Bud Lyons and cowhorse trainers. He is the student. Because he has no children, he’s left his fortune to a few key people in his company and the other half to St. Jude’s Children’s hospital. He doesn’t even start his own colts, his ambassadors/clinicians do. One of those trainers left the company and has his own training business, CA sends a lot of colts to him as well. He says he just wants to enjoy his retirement, show cowhorses, do his podcast and marketing. And yes, pi$$ off his haters because it makes him relevant.

Haters :joy:  :joy:

What an EdgeLord

He kinda has a point…

You literally joined here yesterday just to simp for this clown. Do you think he’ll be impressed with you?

So much for retiring with dignity eh? He clearly loves the negative attention - like a true narcissist. He can easily cancel himself but opts not to.

Respectfully Clinton is no longer relevant if being cocky and ungrateful gets him the clicks he needs.

I saw him twice at our annual state equine fair, the first time 27 years ago when he was just hitting the circuit. I appreciated his straightforward “this horse will hurt you” approach to the various problem horses brought in for him to work with. I also appreciated a lot of his training methods which were centered in keeping you & the horse safe and creating building blocks in the training.

A friend worked with him in Ohio before he became famous. She had nothing nice to say about him but I took her remarks with a grain of salt thinking “people change”. It looks like Clinton has reverted back, or went public, with the things that made her dislike him. Guess he didn’t really change, just unveiled himself.

I highly doubt that, I don’t buy his stuff but I do like his content, controversial. I’ve read this forum and other articles for a few years. Just seemed fitting to comment on a podcast I had just listened to. If I see some other stuff on podcasts I listen to and the situation is fuzzy, I might comment for clarity. One thing I absolutely dislike about him is his politics, he doesn’t make sense at all.

The whole offensiveness shtick is such a common marketing ploy. It comes and goes in popularity. Radio ‘shock jocks’ like Howard Stern, comedians ‘telling the truth’ like Dave Chappelle, whatever Kanye is, etc. etc. IMO CA is of that genre, seated in the horse world.

It sells. Otherwise none of us would be hearing these clips. That’s the bottom line. To a certain audience, of course. CA will be on the public air as long as someone wants him to be.

That video made me ask - ok, so what makes a horse a turd, in his world? Cheap? Some of us can’t afford the high 5 figure + horses, and we have to make do with what we’ve got.

From what I gathered, a 6 figure bred horse that doesn’t have the athletic ability or try. Far removed from what the majority of us who don’t aspire to compete or breed at that level, nor have that kind of bankroll. I sure don’t!

He has certainly cultivated an extensive vocabulary of derogatory, sexist remarks about females. What a disgusting pig of a man.

Lol he’s trying way too hard. There’s so many good options out there for podcasts and streamers, why would anyone waste their time listening to this guy who loves the sound of his own voice?
