But this is so very cool - it’s nice to be able to see it all, and get the commentary, too. Yay, NBC!
Glad to see that the score seemed to reflect the test
I am taking WFP off my list of contenders. Haven’t seen the score yet, but that was 4 years away from being Gold, Silver, or Bronze.
ok…this one needs some help in the tail department but he’s kinda of cool looking.

You must have him mixed up with someone else.[/QUOTE]

I shall lend him some of MY extensions!!!
Yeah, well, I’d like to see his collective marks. And the canter work was sure in a low frame. I’d betcha WFP will have lots to say about that ride. Not the horse’s day, IMO.
so did he like trip or something or am i going crazy?
Non dressage expert so pardon my ignorance… I always thought that no breast plates and all horses were to be ridden in a double bridle? Not to mention I though the olympic dressage tests included more advanced moves? Maybe i’m mistaken… Seems like these are fairly basic moves with nothing to difficult thrown in… (Multiple lead changes every stride; priouettes;piaffe’s(sp) )
Did you read the commentators comments about AA’s?
Way off base… has/she not heard of all those French AA’s, sometimes the whole French team is mounted on team. Tamarillo anyone?

You’ll see all of that in the straight dressage competition.
this is
“eventing dressage”, so the tests are about the equivalent to 3rd level tests in usdf…

I’m running out to buy a case of GE lightbulbs tomorrow!
Ohh okay. Thanks =)
But he’d have to give them back right;)
I really like this French mare too (she’s a lovely type)…of course I haven’t seen too many horses I would kick out of my barn!
Sonofabitch! I just got an ad, right in the middle of Didier’s test! Grrr.

The french have a policy to ride only AA or selle francias horses, yes.
I liked that AA! But I do have a soft spot for them (my mare). Annoyed at the feed buffering every few seconds, but it’s better than nothing
