Lovely clean round for Gina with only 16 time faults. She looks thrilled!
I LOVED the pink gloves and boots! I couldn’t get away with that on A. my gelding and B. in hunter land, but how fun!

Anyone know how tall Lucinda’s horse is?
Big smile on Gina’s face!
The commentator said “177 hh”. I think that’s a typo!
Great ride from Lucinda.
A great ride home for Gina and even better she came home safe!
Is having that flag down going to give Lucinda penalties?

BC awareness perhaps?
Took me a minute…my first thought was British Columbia and I couldn’t figure out what we needed to be aware about British Columbia for…
Oh…Breast Cancer…right…
To be honest, Lucinda’s riding was making me a bit nervous in some parts… She didn’t really look all that stable.
Wow - guess Lucinda was riding the “team” ride (safety before speed). Good job, in any case!
Commentator keeps referring to Lucinda’s little mare – anyone know her size?
She just also did the option at the angled brush thingies–is the direct option striding long in that?

Taking down flags are not penalties - so long as you jump inside the flags - if you are close enough that you take a flag down, but are still inside, it is all good.
Time faults will be the great equalizer here. Only one rail between the top 4 right now.
Just how tall is William FP? He looks like a basket ball player!
So there are three eliminations now? What happened to the third rider?
william is 6’4 and brit is 15.3hh

According to NBC’s site, he’s 6’4". Definitely a pretty tall guy!

I do agree with you but on the other hand, the mare didn’t look particularly rideable–that last long option through the brushy combination did not look planned and it was rough. In comparison to the earlier smooth one it looked off character. I know the mare’s petite and I suppose Lucinda might have taken the long route if she thought the combination one-stride would ride long but I would have thought the turn would have been tighter–inside option.
Random question from someone who knows little about eventing - what’s up with all the whistles in the background? Are they signaling something, or just a way of cheering?
and this is REALLY COOL to watch. I’ve watched way too much circling in my life  . In dressage, excitement is usually a bad thing ;).
new fastest time - William Fox-Pitt
Who was they guy in yellow on the grey? He made me a little uncomfortable.
Loved the smile on williem after the last fence
WFP’s last fence put my heart in my throat. How did his horse manage to jump it? Yikes!
