Thumbs up for Buckaroo Leather

I just wanted to give a shout out to the folks at Buckaroo Leather for their products and service.

I’ve been looking for a German martingale for my horse. I emailed Buckaroo to get the dimensions on the one they make. John (the owner) emailed me the dimensions, and said that they could customize any of the dimensions for no charge. I sent them what I needed, and they asked when I needed it by.

I got it today (right on time) and am very pleased with it.

They also included a complimentary set of cute leather “cowboy coasters” and some extra leather strings.

I have purchased 3 headstalls from them, one was a custom single ear with a throatlatch because my gelding could shake a single or double ear right off, several pairs of his weighted reins, slobber straps and just ordered 2 more pairs of the buckle slobber straps so I can put a pair on my trail reins to use on my curb bit bridle and a pretty pair for my new mecate reins. Also, a bit hobble for my snaffle. All matching of course. If you have a horse with a broad forehead, but need short cheek pieces or a longer throatlatch, John will put it all together for you. Great tack, wonderful service.

LOVE THEM!!! Been a customer for years now. They are nice people and helpful. And the ONLY place I’ve EVER been able to buy quality black split reins.
