dalpal, they’re the weight of a thicker T-shirt. The abdomen has several panels that layer over each other to provide the snug feeling, but they’re not thick or heavy.

I am really glad to hear some positive reviews. Even if it reduces his anxiety by half that would be wonderful.
It’s a shame they don’t make these for people, lol![/QUOTE]
I’m wondering… how about for 3 year olds with temper tantrums? Come on 4… I’m told 4 gets better… sigh…
- they are not advertised in New Zealand where I live. Probably 'cause we dont get those long lines of thunderstorms etc preceeding other more extreme weather events. Hadnt even heard of them before this thread and was interested because I have a thunder-phobic dog. If they are good, also, with nervous dogs - well my puppy is very timid. Luckily both are used to wearing rugs that wrap around the body. Off to google I go, hey ho, hey ho, hey ho
just stumbled across this thread. I tried a thunder shirt on my dog over a year ago. No help whatsoever. I’d heard all the Temple Grandin stuff plus they are a local company. I had high hopes but no results.
Be very careful when Googling, and don’t leave out that last ‘r’ in Thundershirts by accident… Oy vey!
Has anyone used these outside, and not just inside, on dogs in the barn say? Would like to see if it could make the Jacks back off the cat-chasing.
