Ugh. We have a horse with chronic Lyme and there is just no such thing as being “comfortable” with the tick risk. It doesn’t help to see 1-2dozen deer gather next to the paddocks every single evening.
My wife want (&^#$&*^#) guinea hens and I’m convinced they’ll just make noise and feed the coyotes. But they would help with tick control.

After a bout of what the vet said is Anaplasmosis. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. Extremely stocked up limbs, laminitis, fever. My mare doesn’t like spray bottles, but that girl will sure be SOAKED in Ultrashield from now on…
